2. Paddle — Merchant of Record & Payment Processing

All payments on this website are processed by Paddle — specifically Paddle.com Market Ltd. (registered in England & Wales, No. 08172659), Paddle Payments Ltd., or Paddle.com Inc. (depending on your location) — who act as the Merchant of Record for all transactions.

This means Paddle is the legal seller of record. Your payment contract is with Paddle, not directly with PAKNITS. By completing a purchase you also agree to Paddle's Checkout Buyer Terms. Paddle handles all payment processing, invoicing, tax calculation, and tax remittance on our behalf.

Your payment card statement will show a charge from PADDLE.NET or PADDLE.COM. If you do not recognise a charge, visit paddle.com/about/why-has-paddle-charged-me.

For any billing dispute that cannot be resolved through us, you may contact Paddle's support directly via paddle.com.

3. Prices & Taxes

All prices are displayed in USD. Applicable Sales Tax (VAT, GST, or equivalent) may be added at checkout and is calculated, collected, and remitted by Paddle based on your billing location. The total amount shown at checkout — including any applicable tax — is the final amount you will be charged.

We reserve the right to update prices at any time. The price confirmed at checkout is binding for that specific transaction.

4. Orders & Contract Formation

Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase. A binding contract is formed when you receive an order confirmation email from us or Paddle. We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order due to stock unavailability, pricing errors, or suspected fraud — in which case you will receive a full refund.

You must be at least 18 years old to place an order, or purchasing under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

5. Shipping & Delivery

We aim to dispatch orders within 2–5 business days of payment confirmation. Delivery timeframes are estimates and may be affected by carrier delays, customs processing, or circumstances beyond our control. Where available, tracking information will be provided after dispatch.

International orders may be subject to customs duties and import taxes imposed by the destination country. These charges are entirely the buyer's responsibility and are not included in the price paid at checkout.

Risk of loss and title for items pass to you upon delivery to the shipping address provided.

6. Your Statutory Right of Withdrawal (EU & UK Consumers)

If you are a consumer located in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you have a statutory right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 calendar days of the date you (or a person you nominate) receive the goods, without giving any reason.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify us clearly within the 14-day period. You may use the model withdrawal form at the bottom of this section, or send any other unambiguous written statement by email to support@paknits.com.

Once you have notified us of your withdrawal:

• You must return the goods to us without undue delay, and no later than 14 days after notifying us.
• Items must be returned in their original, unused condition with all tags attached. Items that have been worn, washed, or had their tags removed cannot be returned under this right.
• Return shipping costs are your responsibility unless we agree otherwise.

Refund: We will reimburse all payments received from you, including standard delivery costs (but not supplementary delivery costs if you chose a faster method). Reimbursement is made through Paddle within 14 days of the day we receive the returned goods or evidence that you have sent them back (whichever is earlier), using the same payment method as your original purchase.

The right of withdrawal does not apply to goods that have been clearly personalised or custom-made to your specification, or to sealed goods that have been unsealed after delivery where hygiene reasons make them unsuitable for return.

7. Returns & Refunds (All Other Customers)

For customers outside the EU/UK, or for returns outside the statutory withdrawal window, we offer a 14-day return window from the date of delivery at our discretion. To be eligible:

• The item must be unused, unworn, unwashed, and in its original condition with all tags attached.
• You must email us at support@paknits.com within 14 days of delivery to initiate a return.
• Return shipping costs are the buyer's responsibility unless the item is faulty, damaged, or we made an error.

Items marked as Final Sale, custom or personalised orders, and items that have been worn, washed, or had tags removed are not eligible for return.

Refunds: Once we receive and inspect the returned item, refunds are processed by Paddle to the original payment method within 5–10 business days. Because Paddle is the Merchant of Record, all refunds are issued through Paddle's systems. You may also request a refund from Paddle within 14 days of purchase in accordance with Paddle's Checkout Buyer Terms.

Faulty or incorrect items: If you received a faulty, damaged, or incorrect item, contact us within 48 hours of delivery and we will arrange a replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

8. Product Descriptions & Accuracy

We make every effort to display product images, colours, and descriptions accurately. Colours may appear slightly different on different screens, and minor variations in fabric or sizing are possible. If you are unsure about a product, please contact us before ordering.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, photography, graphics, and the PAKNITS name and logo — is the intellectual property of PAKNITS or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our prior written permission.

10. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use this website for any unlawful purpose, to attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site, or to upload or transmit any harmful content. We reserve the right to restrict access to users who violate these terms.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, PAKNITS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from your use of this site or purchase of our products. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific order giving rise to that claim.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

12. Dispute Resolution

If you have a problem with your order, please contact us first at support@paknits.com — we will do our best to resolve things quickly and fairly.

For EU consumers: the European Commission provides an Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform. We are not currently obliged to participate in alternative dispute resolution but will consider reasonable requests.

For payment and billing disputes, you may contact Paddle directly via paddle.com, as Paddle is the Merchant of Record for all transactions.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The revised version will be posted on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. For significant changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you.

14. Governing Law

These terms are governed by applicable law. For consumers in the EU or UK, nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under the law of your country of residence.
